Skin Care Regimen ...and the importance of the liver!

Skincare Model

If you have troublesome acne or blemishes that keep coming back, or you have recently had children back to back like me, then I reccomend you try the following techniques to rejuvinate your liver and cleanse your skin!

I used Proactive for years and by doing the following my skin became radient. I'm sure my healthy diet had a big impact on my skin as well as hormone balance. Pregnancy, nursing and even birth control have effects on the hormonal balance! Which in turn can show on our skin and waist line! If you're experiencing any of the afore mentioned, what have you got to lose?

* If you have health concerns please talk to your health care provider as I am not a doctor. The following information was given from a holistic nutritionist.

Egyption Liver Cleanse (5 days consecutively each month: 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon, 2 tbsp oilve oil). Use this first thing in the morning and wait at least 20 minutes before eating. If you experience nausea lay down on your right side until it passes. You may also experience some belching but both symptoms should pass after a few uses.

Or if you cannot stomach the above use a "Liver tincture" ( mixed suspension, drop in water and drink) try moutainroseherbs online to order.

*Cut out sugar, dairy, breads, and coffee for one week. Let the liver rejuvenate.

Throughout the day:

Drink A LOT of lemon water. As in a few liters.

Lemons

At Meals take the follow suppliments: (3 times a day):

Vitamin C

Cod liver oil

Walnut oil (on salads or in water suspension)

Biotin

Topical:

Apple Cider Vinegar * I like Braggs Organic(use a toner 1-3 times a day)

Coconut oil

Your skin should clear up in a few days or a week at the most! ~Sarah

Heres some interesting information on the liver:

The liver has at least 500 known functions to perform every day, including storing sugar for emergency energy, buffering toxins so they don't damage or burn other organs like the kidneys, making bile for digesting food, helping the skin make Vitamin D from sunlight, and helping the immune system wage war against viruses and bacteria. It has also been known to have an impact on emotions like anger, depression and fear. Our grandparents didn't call them "Liver spots" for nothing. Those brown spots on the skin are a sign the liver is overwhelmed. Keeping your liver supported can hove a significant impact on your overall well being and it makes those'liver spots' disappear.
